Install instructions

Thank you for downloading! Follow these steps to download the game from itch.io and install it on your Oculus Quest 2. Please note that you will need to load the game on your headset.

Requirements:

  • Oculus Quest 2 headset
  • Active Oculus account
  • Windows PC
  • USB-C cable to connect Oculus Quest 2 to your PC
  • Developer mode activated on your Oculus Quest 2 (instructions below)
  • Sufficient storage space on your Oculus Quest 2


Step 1: Enable Developer Mode on Oculus Quest 2

  • Open the Oculus app on your mobile device.
  • Tap on "Settings".
  • Select your Oculus Quest 2 headset from the list.
  • Scroll down and tap on "Developer Mode".
  • Enable developer mode. Follow the on-screen instructions if prompted.


Step 2: Download the demo.


Step 3: Install it on Oculus Quest 2

  • Connect your Oculus Quest 2 to your Windows PC using the USB-C cable.
  • Download the Side Quest program
  • Find the option to install APK from folder on computer 
  •  Install it


Step 4: Running the demo on Oculus Quest 2

  • On your Oculus Quest 2 headset, navigate to "Settings" from the home menu.
  • Select "Device."
  • Under the "Other" section, find and enable "Unknown Sources."


Step 5: Launching "VR FPS"

  • From your Oculus Quest 2 home menu, navigate to "Library."
  • Scroll down to the "Unknown Sources" section.
  • You should see "VR FPS" listed there. Select it to start the game.


Important Note:

"VR FPS" has been developed and tested for use with Oculus Quest 2. Make sure to follow these instructions carefully to sideload the game onto your headset. 

Now that you've successfully installed "VR FPS," you're ready to enter the virtual combat arena and embark on an action-packed adventure. Master your weaponry, use the Time-Stop feature strategically, and conquer the challenges that await you in this thrilling VR FPS game.
